How does professional organizing differ from a cleaning service?

We specialize in bringing order and efficiency to your home. Our trained organizers use proven techniques to declutter, reorganize, and set up systems that suit your needs. Unlike non-professionals, we have the expertise and methods to ensure effective and lasting results.

While cleaners handle tasks like dusting and scrubbing, we focus on optimizing your space. Our organizing includes light cleaning and often makes spaces look cleaner and simplifies future cleaning.

Do you offer cleaning services?

We don’t provide traditional cleaning services, but we do include some light cleaning as part of our organizing process. For instance, when we reorganize a pantry, we'll wipe down shelves before putting items back.

Once your space is organized, it often becomes easier to clean and maintain, which can reduce the need for traditional cleaning services.

Will I need to buy bins and containers?

It’s not required to purchase any product when hiring us. However, in many cases, the utility of a few key items can be well worth the cost. We only suggest a product purchase if we think it will help implement a system that will make your life easier.

For clients who wish to style their space or achieve a certain look, we offer a vast knowledge of organizational products and design themes to assist with this process. We can take measurements and handle the product research, the shopping, and any returns needed.

I need to downsize, but I have a difficult time getting rid of things. Can you help?

We have techniques to help you with the downsizing or decluttering process. This is a highly personal process and we will gently guide you to decide for yourself which items are still serving you. Our goal is to empower you to make confident decisions regarding your belongings.

How long will my space take to organize?

Many factors, but the project duration largely depends on key components:

  • Your goals- for example, a specific finish/style may require more planning & product sourcing

  • Size of the space and volume of items to be sorted

Your organizer will bring plenty of energy and adhere to a protocol to ensure the most efficient use of time.

What can I do to get a head start?

The following things will save some time and allow us to focus on planning the space, but they are not necessary and we are typically happy to tackle the space as it is.

  • Toss trash or begin a pile of unwanted items

  • Certain cleaning tasks: For example, if we are organizing your kitchen, it will help if most dishes are clean so that we can jump right into arranging them

  • If you want a certain look or design, or need us to source certain products, you can browse Pinterest for inspiration to show us

Do I need to participate?

As long as we are able to communicate with you periodically as questions arise, we should be able to create amazing results whether you are working alongside us or absent.

How soon can someone show up?

We can often get started within 48 hours, sometimes even the next day. We are available 7 days a week with flexible hours.
